Natalie
Natalie's qualifications include more than 13 years of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating community-based health programs. Her professional and volunteer experience has involved working with health care organizations and programs including partnerships with community health center coalitions, health departments, and state agencies.
She acted as the Community Projects Director for the Redwood Community Health Coalition, a non-profit coalition of 19 community health centers in Marin, Napa, Sonoma, and Yolo counties. She coordinated chronic disease prevention and early intervention programs for the Medi-Cal and the uninsured populations at the local health centers.
She also coordinated projects created to sustain collaborative environments where health centers, health departments, state agencies and health care organizations could work together. She is a culturally competent educator with experience working with widely diverse cross sections of socioeconomic and cultural groups.
In addition to her broad understanding of health and wellness management, Natalie is a yoga instructor and practitioner.
Certifications include
National certification as a Certified Health Education Specialist, a measure of competency that ensures a specific set of skills in the area of health program planning and management. Natalie is also a certified hatha yoga teacher (including completion of 200 hours of training)though My Yoga Lounge.
