Tracy

Tracy has been teaching movement and health for over nine years with a mix of West and East. She is a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. Though she has a background in competitive athletics as a long distance runner, she has studied and participated in a wide variety of other activities including ballet, taiji, qi gong, cycling, tennis, skiing and basketball, and uses all of these modalities in her instruction.

She fosters increased body awareness in her clients by training them in agility, balance, coordination thus increasing their strength and confidence. While her clients have been varied, she enjoys working with special populations including those in post-rehabilitation and seniors.

She teaches anatomy, physiology and kinesiology to yoga teachers and provides health and wellness seminars to corporate audiences. Her additional fitness education includes Resist-a-Ball, neural-fascial stretching, Somatics, and a Japanese neural training technique called Sotai. She has her Masters in Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture and currently practices Japanese and Chinese acupuncture and herbs.

NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Resource Associates Vinyasa Yoga Instructor.
